This technology will be able to decontaminate in continuous flow the toxic chemicals, using high-frequency and high-intensity sound waves which facilitate a complete degradation of the chemicals at a higher reaction speed and a higher yield, comparing with classic technologies. The ultrasonic continuous flow decontamination technology will be integrated with a real-time monitoring NMR technique and, the integrated system will be tested and validated as laboratory technology. The target of this innovative technology is to decontaminate faster, greener, waste-free and energetically efficient, the toxic chemicals.<\/span><\/p><p><b>The main objectives of the project are:<\/b><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To upgrade the technology concept formulated (TRL2) regarding the sonochemistry used in a completely new and untapped utilization as CWAs decontamination, to the next level of experimental proof of concept (TRL3).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To develop an experimental laboratory demonstrator (TRL3) for the ultrasonic decontamination technology of CWAs and highly toxic compositions.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To test and validate in laboratory conditions the decontamination efficiency of several classes of CWAs and toxic compositions using the waste-free new decontamination demonstrator (composed synergistically from a special ultrasonic installation and an ecological decontamination composition catalyzed by advanced nanomaterials).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To integrate the ultrasonic generator and transducer with a flow reactor, and real-time analysis of decontamination capacity using continuous flow NMR analysis technique.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To test and validate the real-time analyzing and monitoring functionality of the integrated system for continuous flow ultrasonic decontamination as technology validated in laboratory (TRL4).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>2025<\/b><\/p><p><b>STAGE 1\/2025 &#8211; Development of a technology for sonolytic decontamination of chemical warfare agents and highly toxic military chemical compositions.
